Chinese New Year Holidays!!!

The Chinese New Year celebration was over and the students get to spent the two days of holidays. I spent the holidays by staying at home and watching movies that were lined up for Chinese New Year holidays. Moreover, I finished the homework that was given to me by my subject teachers. The next day, I spent at home to help my mother to do house chores. , I spent my next day going to my friend's house to play badminton. It was such fun,but when it started to drizzle we were quite disappointed. Instead of playing badminton, i went to her house to play indoor games. We played games such as card and board games. Plus, we went to the internet to play some games. This is how I spent the holidays!!

Chinese New Year Celebration

The Chinese New Year celebration was held on 16th of February 2007. During the celebration, they talked about the cultures of the Chinese and the important days that the Chinese celebrates during different occasions. There were variety of shows lined up for us on that day. Firstly, there was the lion dance followed by the distribution of the oranges to the teachers. Secondly, the troupe from Wungshi came to show some stunts. They also encouraged us to join Wungshi as it is not dangerous and is suitable for all ages. Thirdly, the indian dancers put up a dance performance for us. They wore colourful costumes which attracted most of the audience. Finally, three pupils sang Chinese songs and in the finale they sang the Chinese New Year song while the student-councillors joined in. It was a wonderful celebration and we went home feeling happy and satisfied.

My Unforgettable Experience.

It was my unforgettable experience in Malaysia. During the December holidays, my parents and I went to Malaysia for one of my aunt's wedding. We stayed in our aunt's house which was a bungalow, two days before the wedding. Two days passed, and it was the day of my aunt's wedding. After the wedding, my aunt, her son, my parents and I went back to the house to pack our bags so that we could return to Singapore on that very night. We went to the second floor of the bungalow to take our toiletries. Suddenly, we sense a figure passing by the room. We did not care about it. We went down the stairs and we were about to leave the house. My aunt came to get a cab for us. To our surprise, we saw a figure looking near the window on the second floor. I thought it was one of my aunt's son, but my aunt's son left for work after we reached the house. There was no one at home. The figure was looking at us until we got a cab back to the airport. Once we reached Singapore, we called our aunt to ask about the incident that happened on that very night. She said that the figure was not there in the room once we left in the cab. For precaution, my aunt left her house and she went to her mother's house to stay till next morning.

My Favourite Teachers

One of my favourite teachers are Mr Farid my Biology teacher and Ms Tay my English Language teacher. I like Mr Farid because he is very kind and cheerful. Everyday, he will make funny jokes to make us understand about Biology.Moreover, he tells his life story which is related to Biology. He makes easier ways to make us understand about Biology and make Biology come alive by drawing concept maps to explain certain topics and telling us different kinds of stories. In addition, Ms Tay is also my favourite teacher in many ways. She plays games with us that are related to vocabulary and grammar. She makes us improve our oral by giving us lots of oral exercises and pronunciation worksheets. She makes us feel joyful by telling jokes and telling poems. I like both of the teachers in my own special ways. :)

My Experience in N3F

My experience in N3f was different from sec 1 and sec 2. My new friends were kind and cheerful but a bit naughty. I also like the subject teachers and my form teachers. Moreover, the subjects were different and the syllabus were new. I was happy that i was being chosen to be in-charge of cleanliness in the CMC. As the days went by, the class was getting joyful as everyone was getting interested in studying. I like my class as they are very social with each other.
